Sarvodya Gyan Public School, a co-educational English medium institution, was established in the year 2006 with the vision of providing quality education under the All India Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) curriculum. The school offers comprehensive academic programs from the foundational level up to Class XII, culminating in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE).
Prior to the inception of Sarvodya Gyan Public School, the Deoband Block faced a significant educational gap. At that time, only one C.B.S.E.-affiliated school served the entire region. This limitation posed serious challenges for the residents of Deoband and nearby villages, who were deprived of access to quality education within their locality under the national C.B.S.E. framework.
The lack of C.B.S.E.-affiliated institutions in the region was not just an inconvenience—it was a pressing issue that demanded immediate attention. The educational aspirations of many families, particularly for their daughters, remained unfulfilled. The only feasible option for parents was to send their children to Muzaffarnagar, a city located approximately 25 kilometers away from Deoband. This not only proved to be financially burdensome for many families, but also presented significant logistical and safety concerns, especially for girls. The daily commute was daunting, and as a result, many girls were forced to remain at home, missing out on the opportunities that quality education provides.
In response to this urgent need, a group of visionary individuals came together to address the problem. After thorough deliberation, a decision was made to establish a new educational institution that could offer high-quality, C.B.S.E.-based education within the Deoband region. This led to the formation of a dedicated educational society named Sarvodya Gyan Shiksha Samiti. Under its aegis, Sarvodya Gyan Public School was founded in 2006 with the objective of transforming the educational landscape of the region.
Since its establishment, Sarvodya Gyan Public School has emerged as a center of academic excellence and holistic development.
